About Me
Hello ! My name is Saipavan .I am a final-year B.Tech-Computer Science and Engineering student at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sricity (IIIT Sricity). I am currently seeking full-time opportunities in development roles. Through this portfolio website, I aim to creatively showcase my skills, projects, resume, internship experiences, and social profiles. While there may be some bugs, I am actively working on resolving them and will provide an updated version soon.
My Projects
Trimrr - URL Tracker Application
Generated unique QR codes for custom URLs, tracked device details (displayed in a pie chart), and location details (top 5 locations by click count shown in a line chart),Implemented a useFetch custom hook for improved code reusability and utilized Recharts for plotting device statistics.
FotoFlask - Social App
Developed a MERN stack social media application with 3 different user types (user, admin, adver- tiser), including functionalities such as Admin dashboards and 1:1 chat using Socket.IO,Enabled users to upload 5 different types of posts (image, video, text, story, reels), follow and unfollow other users, and interact through likes, comments, and shares. Stored all posts in Firebase,Implemented Redis caching, reducing API response times by 80-95% compared to direct queries.
Multi-Lingual Advanced Chat App
Developed a multi-lingual chat application using Socket.IO for real-time 1:1 user interaction, incorporating priority-based message indicators with color-coded highlights (red, yellow, blue) and voice typing functionality. Enhanced user experience with features like message scheduling implemented through Node.js cron jobs and seamless message translation into multiple languages using the Google Translate API.

Automated YouTube channel integration with Node.js cron jobs, ensuring seamless updates. Enhanced key pages using Next.js SSR for better search indexing, increasing organic traffic significantly. Optimized code and implemented lazy loading to improve performance.
Writo Education - Full-Stack Developer intern
Collaborated with UX/UI teams to redesign the website and implemented real-time chat with WebSockets, boosting engagement. Added course-based broadcast channels and responsive designs for key pages, ensuring seamless communication and device compatibility.
Open Source Contribution
Contributed to open-source projects across multiple organizations during Hacktoberfest 2024, including Yamada UI, Kestra, ToolJet, Microsoft, GitHub, Iterative, .NET, Marmelab, and FotoFlask, enhancing code, resolving issues, and improving documentation.
